Make routine work hard to forget.
Recurring tasks turn a cadence into accountable work for a team, so operational commitments appear in the same system as everything else.
Define the task that should repeat
Open Settings → Recurring Tasksand set a name, team, schedule, start date, task title, and owner. Add the priority, category, due-date offset, estimate, tags, and a task playbook when the repeated work needs more structure.
Give every occurrence a real task
Telos creates a task for the chosen team at each occurrence with the context you defined. People can then update, discuss, complete, and report on that instance like any other task; recurring work does not disappear into a checklist.
Pause the schedule without losing the record
Pause a recurring task when the routine no longer applies, edit its schedule when the operating rhythm changes, or delete the definition to stop future tasks. Tasks already created remain available as the historical record of what happened.
