See where capacity is actually going.
Time allocation gives leadership and teams a consistent way to understand effort without confusing estimates with the work that happened.
Make the level of visibility deliberate
Open Settings → Time allocationand choose how the workspace records effort. Hours per dayshows actual hours worked. Percentage per week or percentage per day shows proportional effort while keeping absolute hours private. Percentage modes use the assumed workweek to translate effort into a comparable view.
Attach effort to the work it supports
People record time against an opportunity, task, or a categorised miscellaneous activity. The date, category, and note keep the entry useful later; the work remains the source of context rather than a separate timesheet project.
Turn effort into an operating signal
Review allocation over a week, month, quarter, or custom range by category and team. Expand a category to see the opportunities, tasks, and other work underneath it. Leadership can export the range when cost or capacity needs to be reviewed outside Telos.
