Vision

Keep the organisation pointed at the same future.

Vision is the persuasive narrative of where the organisation is going. It gives objectives, strategies, opportunities, and work a shared direction that stays connected as the narrative evolves.

Document

One direction, at company or product level

Telos keeps one company vision and can hold product visions beneath it. A vision is a living narrative, not a status field or a static launch document. Objectives attach to it directly, while downstream work inherits the path through the objective and opportunity it serves.

Version history

Change the direction without losing the story

Editing the narrative creates a new version. The current version is the one used throughout the product; earlier versions remain in the Version history rail. Open any version to compare it with the immediately preceding version, and add a change note when the reason for the shift is useful to the team.

Broadcast

Make a change visible to the organisation

When a vision changes, Telos broadcasts an update to the rest of the organisation. Members receive it in Notifications, with a link back to the vision; the author is not notified about their own change. The notification arrives live through the notification stream and can be read, pinned, or unsubscribed from at the source in the notification drawer.

Live alignment

Let the latest vision meet the work

Reviews do not keep using an old copy of the narrative. Alignment reviews on insights and AI reviews of opportunities resolve the current vision when they run. AI distillation keeps that direction clear and useful as context, so a change reaches the review loop as soon as the vision changes.

The vision is a source of context, not an automatic verdict. AI explains whether a piece of evidence or proposed work moves toward, away from, or is unclear against the current direction for a person to review.
